I had a chance today to chat with the people at Flypaper about the new Pro version that is being released today. If you haven't heard of Flypaper it is an application and player that allows you to create interactive presentations with their desktop authoring application and then easily publish in a multitude of ways.

Presentation Dashboard

The new Pro Version adds increased storage space, interactive forms (with SCORM integration), and a new Flex-based dashboard that gives detailed analytics of your media presentations. Presentation analytics are becoming an essential tool in the RIA landscape (see my previous article on Sliderocket).

The dashboard gives a good overview of the user experience as your presentation is being viewed. While Flypaper is mainly for situations where a Flash designer and programmer are not readily available, the dashboard provides information that is useful in any situation.

Disclaimer

The actual Flypaper authoring application is currently Windows only. I asked the guys at Flypaper if a Mac version was forthcoming, and they mentioned that is something they are investigating.

First, thank you for the intuitive post. I like your blog and find it especially instructive. I like your skill of saying (by blogging) little things that other blogger will not take the time to mention. I found it by doing a search on Bing as a consequence I surely will come back here when I have more time. Thanks
