Lee Brimelow has posted that Grant Skinner posted a slide deck from a recent talk he gave on getting started in AS3. Whether you're an old AS2 or flash developer or just new to the language, the slide deck is a great start for understanding the basics of AS3 development. Lee thinks it's in-depth enough to be a book, and I'm not the sort of person who disagrees with Lee Brimelow.

I'm not a big fan of re-posting other people's posts, but this seemed like a good one to make sure everyone was aware of, especially since we have a lot of people following the Learning Flex From Scratch series here. If you're not following Lee's blog, go add it to your RSS reader right now.
