Curl announced yesterday that they have released the second beta of the Curl version 7 product (code named Nitro).

Curl version 7 promises Adobe AIR like capabilities including the ability to install Curl applications directly to your desktop in addition to running them in a browser. The beta 2 makes improvements to security (SQLite encryption API), performance (15% faster), skinnability, embedded browser API (including support for embedding Flash movies), and full support for Curl CDE (the Eclipse IDE for Curl).

You can read more about the release of Curl version 7, beta 2 at the Curl Developer Center.
