Poll Results: What mobile platform are you most interested in programming for?

With almost 200 voters (as of yesterday morning), in our developers minds, iPhone is the clear winner in the mobile platform. This is not surprising to me as iPhone has been such an overwhelming success and is quickly becoming a dominating force within the mobile world. It is also not very surprising that Android came in second as it has been all over the news and has a promising future.

I was surprised to see how poorly Windows Mobile and Blackberry did in our poll as although their numbers have been slipping lately due to iPhone, they are still dominating forces in the mobile market.

As usual, your comments are welcomed and I thank you for participating in our poll.

I am very interested in Windows Mobile 7, but until then (possibly), Windows Mobile 6 not even close to the iPhone capabilities.
