Spring and Flex Integration Available
Technologies: Java, FlexAdobe recently announced that they would be cooperating with the Spring project to add BlazeDS integration. The first version with the integration is now available (version 1.0.0.M1). The Spring Source blog states:
This first milestone is very much a foundational release, focusing on support for configuring and bootstrapping the BlazeDS MessageBroker (the central component that handles incoming messages from the Flex client) as a Spring-managed object, routing HTTP messages to it through the Spring DispatcherServlet infrastructure, and easily exporting Spring beans as destinations for direct Flex remoting.
It should be noted (as stated above) that this isn't the final release, but rather the first of many milestone releases.
