jQuery FTW for March 20, 2009
Welcome to (yet another) recap of jQuery-related items. The first day of Spring brings us...
- jQuery UI 1.7.1 : This is a 'point' release for the jQuery UI library. You can view a changelog for an official list of what was changed.
- Speaking of jQuery UI - looks like they also maintain a list of sites using the framework. Nice. It would be cool to see some of the bigger sites talk about how and why they chose to use jQuery UI.
- Ever wanted to know which version of jQuery was being used? This blog entry demonstrates how you can get the version. I suppose this would be useful for plugin developers? Any plugin coders want to comment?
- Not new, but Nettuts+ has a pretty intensive video series on learning jQuery. Looks to be 15+ tutorials, all free, which is pretty darn nice. I'll also point out this interesting tutorial on making tag clouds.
That's it for this week. Sorry for the short list. I'll remind folks again - drop me a line (ray at camdenfamily dot com) with any interesting things you see throughout the week.

Take a look at this.

Its a bookmarklet which shows the js framework used, and if its jQuery it says which particular version of jQuery is in use.
