It appears that a product of software library being open source has a profound influence on whether or not the readers of InsideRIA decide to use it. Over 80% of those responding said it was more likely that they would use an open source product, while only 5% said it would make it less likely that they would use it. Does not really clarify if they would not use proprietry. Who changes source anyway? Be interesting to see how many of the open source proponents ever modify source or have given code that was accepted.
