As you already may know, Ribbit is a relatively new technology that allows developers to integrate voice and rich communication features into websites or applications. Still, there are not many products out there where end users can take advantage of it. 72calls is a new service based on Ribbit that will enable end users to embed voice mail phones directly into their websites, blogs etc. like YouTube videos. This way, owners of websites or blogs will allow their visitors too send them voice mails by simply using the standard mic and „talking to the website“. The service will cost 7$ a month. For anyone who wants to be among the first when the service starts (in May), please post a comment with your email address and I will get back to you. :-)

I run a great catholic courier award winning newspaper and I think this voice-mail would be a great service for websites. I think its more personal and many would like this. It also eliminates much of the spam that comes from comments.
