I had a chance today to chat with the people at Flypaper about the new Pro version that is being released today. If you haven't heard of Flypaper it is an application and player that allows you to create interactive presentations with their desktop authoring application and then easily publish in a multitude of ways.

Sorry, no code in this post. I decided to venture further from Flex development for a brief moment, and will focus on data and how it can be represented visually. My last post on data visualization sparked a desire to search the web to see what kinds of visualizations are out there.

New AIR Resource for Flash Developers
My recent Lynda.com series, AIR for Flash Developers, was recently released in the Lynda.com Online Training Library. In this series, I cover most all of the AIR API and how to integrate it with your Flash files. As I stated on my blog, this series is not for everyone. It does require a working knowledge of ActionScript 3 and Flash CS3. However, if you need to brush up on these skills, Lynda.com provides additional series that cover most every aspect of Flash and ActionScript training.

This is especially the case when you have mixed content that should be displayed inline within the content (images, tables, text wrapping, etc...). Here are a few tricks that you can use to fully take advantage of the mx:HTML control within your applications.
