I just got back from the AjaxWorld conference in New York last week. Here's my wrap up notes and thoughts on the event. On the whole it seemed very well attended and had some interesting and very packed sessions.

360|Flex Europe is the first European Conference purely about Adobe's Flex and AIR technology. It is put on by 360Conferences , the same people who put on the 360Flex conferences in the United States. For attendee reviews of 360Flex, check out this entry .

Jam packed with fun and information, as well as massive networking opportunities, FITC consists of presentations, demonstrations, panel discussions, the kick ass FITC awards show, and of course the most talked about...parties!! With some of the most interesting and engaging presenters from Toronto and around the world, it's 3 days and nights that will leave you inspired, energized and awed.

Dion's at Mix and has just posted the scoop on IE 8. And it sounds like there are significant new features and improvements as detailed in the Internet Explorer 8 Readiness Toolkit. We got lots of goodies including better security, improved back button support, lightweight offline access, new developer tools and a whole lot more! You should be able to download IE 8 here, but the link isn't working yet.

If you are in the New York area, I would highly recommend checking out Flex Camp Wall Street which will be a one day event held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at the NYC Seminar and Conference Center. The quality of the speakers is excellent and the topics look very interesting. For only $99, you are not going to be disappointed. For more information you can visit http://www.flexcampwallstreet.com/.

The word is out, Adobe is taking the gang of evangelists, a few other AIR hackers and yours truly across the pond to Europe. We're going to be hitting 12 cities from Madrid to Stockholm this spring and summer. Each event will cover everything from basic AIR development in Flex, Flash and Ajax to advanced topics and cool demos. Like the North American tour I'm sure there will be food and drink provided.
