Accessibility is something that we all know is important when developing content for the Internet, however it is also something that has frequently been left out of a project development due to time constraints, technology challenges, or budgeting issues. I...

InsideRIA Conference - Call for Papers
I have had many inquiries from those who wish to speak at the inaugural InsideRIA conference. I am now happy to announce that the call for papers is now open. For more information please visit the http://www.insideriacon.com. One thing to note is that due to price and length of the show, there has been no budget allocated for speaker travel or hotel. Please keep this in mind when submitting topics. If you don’t mind paying your own way though, we’ll consider your submission. With only 20ish slots, we were planning on a local speaker base. However, we won’t turn away non-locals who understand this limitation, yet still want to be part of this inaugural edition of the event.

You won't want to miss Flash (Flex) Camp Orlando this Friday, May 29th, on the campus of UCF ($49.95 for single registration - less for groups of 3 or more). This event will have some great speakers, give-aways, and most importantly some big announcements from Adobe.

I am sitting here waiting for my departure a little early from the 360Flex in Indianapolis, disappointed that I have to miss some excellent sessions this afternoon. This was my first 360Flex but I will not be missing any in the future if I have a choice. The content was top-notch and this is by far the single best place to network with other Flex developers, including most of the prominent names you may know well already. Tom Ortega and John Wilker really put on a great show that mixes the best content of a typical conference with a very relaxed and informal feel that is enjoyable.

Adobe User Group Tour (Flex 4, Flash Catalyst, and ColdFusion 9)
There are some great RIA conferences but if you don't live close to the events it can be tough to take advantage of them. Luckily there are a ton of User Groups (i.e. Adobe User Groups) to bring it closer...
