OnAIR Tour Europe - Madrid, Spain

So the OnAIR Tour Europe has officially begun! I joined the crew yesterday evening in Madrid for tapas in the late afternoon. Today's event was a great kick off, we had just over 200 show up and most stayed right until the bitter end. I think everyone understood most of what we were saying, although I can't be sure I think the number of questions we received was a good indicator that people were interested in AIR, Flex, Flash and Ajax.

I think everyone understood most of what we were saying, although I can't be sure I think the number of questions we received was a good indicator that people were interested in AIR, Flex, Flash and Ajax.

I met some very cool people with interesting startup ideas including Inkzee which is a feedreader that uses semantic algorithms to filter your feeds to your interest.

Follow the with live updates here. We're posting videos, pics and updates of all the events.

Next stop is in Paris on April 2nd. It's already sold out (it's free) but if you're signed up track me down when you get there I'd like to hear about what you're working on in the RIA space!

Hey Andre,

We have blogged during the sessions on the Portuguese RIA Community - www.riapt.org . Tomorrow we might upload the videos of the sessions.

About the limited number of questions that were made, here in Europe normally the public is not much enthusiastic. I think that almost everyone who didn't knew Air was impressed with it.

Congratulations for you presentation! Hope to have you speaking in Portugal anytime soon. ;)

It was a great event. Personally, I found it extremely interesting. The important thing is that speakers (and possibly the order subjects were presented) achieved building up attendants interest until the very end.

Spanish public IS enthusiastic but possibly when it comes to talking in public (in a foreign language may be) then people might be hesitating a bit to ask questions.

Great presentation. All the best for the remaining of the AIR tour!
