In addition to many of the bigger announcements that have already been unveiled at Max 2008, Serge Jespers announced a new Flex application that was developed by the evangelism team to showcase Flex and AIR functionality. This application is named, 'Tour De Flex'. In addition to the AIR application, there is also an Eclipse plug-in that enables you to search through the over 200 examples included in Tour De Flex.

One of the great features of this application is that it gives examples on how to connect and work with common cloud API's in Flex. The initial version includes samples for the following (and Serge states that this application will be updated often):

Acrobat.com Share

Amazon

AOL Instant Messenger

Cocomo

Ebay

Flickr

Google Language

Intuit Quickbase

LastFM

Photoshop.com

Salesforce.com

Scribd

Smugmug

Twitter

Yahoo Weather

Cloud API Samples in Tour De Flex

Finally, the application will not only just include code from Adobe, but they are giving the community the opportunity to contribute code for it.
